Long shot ..but I am hoping someone can point me to the right direction putting belt back on. I got leverage and push the belt tensioner all the way but still need to stretch the belt to put over it. What am I doing wrong? I can't think of another way to get the belt over the tensioner The car us 2007 Toyota Camry hybrid. It seems like the belt just won’t fit even when the tensioner is fully seated. It’s not close to fitting. I’ve tried from the top and the bottom. I removed the power steering reservoir hose to allow more travel. I’ve done this before after timing belt replacement but don’t recall having any problems. I ordered a gear wrench belt tool for my next try. I’m the meantime I still need to install a condenser. Thanks for any guidance.
